    Using the Prepare/ENRICH curriculum, I’ll guide you in strengthening your communication, clarifying your expectations, and building a solid foundation for your marriage. My goal is to help you step into this next chapter with confidence, connection, and a deeper understanding of each other.

    Looking for support managing anxiety, building confidence, navigating life changes or growing in your relationships? Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, I provide 1-on-1 support to help you understand your patterns and take practical steps forward.

Rates, Insurance and Payment Options

G.E.M. Therapeutic Services believes that quality mental health care should feel supportive, transparent, and accessible. Below you’ll find information about session fees, insurance, and payment options to help you make an informed decision about beginning therapy.

Rates

Session fees vary depending on the type and length of service provided.

Initial Intake Rates:

  • Individual: $165

  • Couples: $225

Standard Therapy Rates:

  • Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $135

  • Couples Therapy (60 minutes): $185

Insurance

G.E.M. Therapeutic Services currently accepts insurance through Alma and Headway platforms. We currently accept:

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC

  • Carelon Behavioral Health

  • Cigna

  • Quest Behavioral Health

  • UnitedHealthcare

  • And many more…..

Because benefits vary by plan, I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to verify:

  • Mental health benefits

  • Copay / coinsurance amounts

  • Deductible status

  • Authorization requirements

Payment Options

For your convenience, the following forms of payment are accepted:

  • Major credit/debit cards

  • HSA/FSA cards

  • Electronic payments through the client portal

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Private Pay

Many clients choose to use private pay as it offers greater flexibility, discretion, and autonomy in treatment.

Private pay may be a good fit if you value:

  • Greater privacy and confidentiality

  • Flexibility in treatment goals and frequency

  • Access to services not always covered by insurance

  • The ability to pursue care without diagnostic limitations required by some insurance plans

Private pay allows therapy to be tailored more fully to your unique needs and goals, rather than being directed by insurance requirements.

**Couples and premarital services are offered on a private-pay basis only**

A limited number of sliding scale appointments may be available based on financial need and current availability. Please feel free to inquire if cost is a concern.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a late cancellation/no-show fee equivalent to full session.
